"She was enjoying this. His fear, his panic; it was delicious."

Alyssa Stanton, in the early chapters of Echoes of Betrayal, was the radiant heart of a seemingly idyllic life. In her mid-twenties, she possessed a warmth that drew people to her, a genuine kindness that made her a cherished friend, and a vibrant spirit that illuminated her home in the rural community of Heatwole, Minnesota.
She was the picture-perfect wife, her husband’s biggest supporter, and had just enough sass to keep things interesting, but when cracks started appearing in her marriage, Alyssa’s insecurities began to rear their ugly head. Disagreements were becoming commonplace as her husband, Drew, started pulling away. Blaming his distance on growing pressures of his career, Drew promised to become a better husband to Alyssa.
However, when love turns into an obsession and a brutal act is committed by the one who vowed to love and cherish her, Alyssa’s existence is changed forever. The injustice of her fate and the violation of the love and trust she had so freely given anchored her spirit to the earthly realm. The vibrant, loving woman was twisted by the agony of betrayal and the abrupt end of her life. Now, she exists as a vengeful spirit, her once gentle nature consumed by a burning desire for retribution against the man who stole her future.
